The final conference of the IMPACT project will take place on 24-25 October 2011 at the British Library in London. At this conference, the final tools and services of IMPACT will be presented, along with related research in the field of OCR and language technology. Please join us for this two day conference to find out more about the project outputs and how you can use them in your own digitisation initiatives.
Monday 24 October 2011: Introduction and Operational Context, the IMPACT Framework and OCR evaluation, Tools for improved text recognition.
Tuesday 25 October 2011: Language tools and resources, the IMPACT Centre of Competence, Parallel sessions on State of the art research tools for document analysis and OCR, IMPACT language tools & resources and Digitisation tips (Meet the expert).
Both days will feature key speakers from outside of the project, in addition to experts from the IMPACT consortium. Further details are available on the Conference programme page.
